The purpose of this site is to engage students and young people in discussion of Global Disarmament issues. By encouraging research and debate we can facilitate actual steps towards the ultimate goal of a Nuclear Weapons-Free World (NWFW).

The views of young people are integral to our future and it is through this forum that the ideas and opinions of the next generation can be communicated between students and professionals.

We need to look forward but it is also necessary to discuss the events of the past and try to learn from them. I invite you to explore this site, read the articles and contribute to the intellectual debate on our online forum by Joining this Site, below. The threats of small arms proliferation, chemical and biological attack, terrorism and nuclear warfare are very real.

How can we meet this threat in the future?

Dr Hans Blix

Former Chairman of the Weapons of Mass Destruction Commission,

which produced the 2006 Weapons of Terror Report.
